Welcome to my Happy Place. 

My name is Kristine... Owner, Baker and Sweet Artist at ButterCups Cakery & Sweet Boutique.  I am a nurse by profession, momma of four, and lover of creating treasured life moments with love and sugar.

Looking back on my inspiration, I fondly remember growing up in a home where the ambience of incredible parties accented with perfect music, conversation and the distinct aroma of exquisite culinary treats warmed the air. The beauty of expression through the loving detail my mother put into her creations is something I am undoubtedly blessed to have observed, learned from and carry forward. Her multi-course dinner menus, beautifully decorated Wilton cakes, gorgeous glittering tablescapes and authentic ethnic recipes always set the stage for the perfect guest experience .

When I close my eyes I remember how these times were always shared with family and friends. I remember the settings, the personal details in take home party favors and the smiles as people marveled at the glorious cake at the center of the table. 

It has been my dream to recreate these treasured memories and personal experiences for you and for those you treasure.Through the art of baking and the beauty of flavor, it is my wish to create your vision with just that personal touch, to genuinely express how very important this occasion is to your heart.
